December 2009 (Kislev 5770): Bulk sampling program
In light of the mineral chemistry results from the Rakefet Magmatic Complex and the recovery of a micro-diamond, further evaluation of the magmatic bodies and its associated drainage network has commenced. This will include bulk sampling to test a range of sedimentary environments associated with a drainage network that has tapped the Rakefet magmatic bodies. Note that this drainage network is a tributary to the Kishon River where diamonds have been recovered during the early stages of Shefa Yamin’s exploration campaign.Field confirmation of the target areas was undertaken and five mega-pits have been sited.
